Alegia Natural Pear Chips – natural sweetness from dried pear

Pear Chips from the Alegia Natural range are a 100% natural dried treat made from high-quality pears, with no added sugar, preservatives or artificial flavours. It is an excellent choice for rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, hamsters and birds – including parrots – offering a tasty variation in the daily diet as well as valuable nutrients.

Pears dried under the right conditions retain most of their beneficial properties. They are rich in naturally occurring simple sugars, dietary fibre, vitamins (especially C, A, E and K) and minerals such as copper, potassium, iron and boron. This makes pear chips not only delicious, but also a meaningful snack that supports health and vitality.

Why add pear chips to your pet’s diet?

Pear chips are recommended as a dietary variety for:

Due to the natural fruit sugar content, they are not recommended for degus, which should avoid higher-carbohydrate treats. For these animals, herbs or low-glycaemic vegetable products are a better option.

Feeding instructions: 1–2 chips daily as a treat. Do not overfeed. Ensure access to fresh, clean water. Store in a cool, dry place.
